In December, among the cars lined up at Jackson Bus Station, the moment everyone was waiting did not start by the ticking of the clock, or even when the clock indicated 1 p.m. That moment started with a deeper sound coming from the throat, where the soft palate was moving like a bell and everything started. Those humanlike bells gave life to everyone, just as the way told in the Creation Story about a huge trumpet giving life to the humans.
